Jean Godfrey McFord

Jean Godfrey McFord of New Church, VA. passed away at her home in New Church, VA. on Saturday, January 25, 2020. She was the widow of the late Edward Lewis Mc Ford. Born in  Snow Hill, Maryland on August 11, 1931 and her parents were William Godfrey and Kathryn Beauchamp Godfrey. She retired as an egg grower.

Jean is survived by her son, William Fred "Bill" McFord, her daughter in law Betty Jean McFord of New Church, VA., her brothers, Donald Godfrey of Delmar, De., Robert Godfrey of Snow Hill, MD., Norman Godfrey of Washington, D.C., a sister, Ester Chase of Salisbury, Maryland, two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a Memorial Service on Sunday, February 02, 2020 at 1 PM. at Refuge Temple Outreach Ministry (formerly known as Berea Methodist Church) in New Church with the Rev. Janice Sutton officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Riverside Shore Hospice or Refuge Temple Ministry in lieu of flowers. Arrangements by Fox Funeral Home, Temperanceville.
