Of Horntown, VA passed on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at his residence, the age of 77. Born in Washington DC on December 8, 1941 and his parents were the late, James, Jr. and Mary Catherine Corrodo Cranston. He was a dump truck drive for many years.

He is survived by his children, James Joseph Cranston IV of Huntingtown, MD, Teresa Louise Giordino of Annapolis, MD, Abigale Cranston of Baltimore, MD, his brother, Thomas Cranston of North Carolina, two grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and 2 nieces.
