Homer Seldon Bentley

Of Oak Hall, VA passed away at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital, Onancock, VA on Monday, November 11, 2019.  He is the husband of Patricia Bentley.  Born in Bristol, Tennessee on October 05, 1931 and his parents were Edward Dean and Cynthia Jane Mitchell Bentley. He retired as a superintendent of construction with Beamen Corporation and was in the United States Army from November 4, 1952 though November 4, 1954 during the Korean War.

Other then his wife, Patricia, he is survived by his children, Diane Jane Tait, daughter in Law, Tamara of PA, his brother, Dallas Bentley of MD, two grandchildren, one great grandchild, several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his son, Daniel Lee Bentley and a brother, Lee Bentley.

There will be a Visitation on Thursday Evening, November 14, 2019 at Fox Funeral Home, Temperanceville, VA from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and a Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Sam Welch officiating.  Interment will be at John W. Taylor Cemetery, Temperanceville, VA.
