Obituary
Mrs. Harriett Matthews Downs, 74, of Temperanceville passed away at her home on 31 December 2020. She was a homeless shelter worker and an attendee of Acts Church. Harriett was the daughter of the late James Milton Matthews and Mary Roe Matthews. She was predeceased by a grandson, Hunter Ryan.
She is survived by her Husband Terry Downs, 3 children, Huey Herring and his wife Karen, Heather Moltido, and Michelle Learn. 3 step daughters, Tiffanie Downs, Alisha Downs, and Samantha Downs. 7 grandchildren,Joshua Learn, Matthew Learn, John Allen and his husband Nathaniel, Hannah Herring, Kassidy Herring and her husband Richard, Ryan Moltedo and wife Megan, and Taylor Moltedo. 3 great grandchildren Hunter, Parker, and Conner Learn. 3 brothers James Milton Matthews II and his wife Janet, Terry L. Matthews and his wife Nancy, and Paul A. Matthews and his wife Crissy, Several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial service will be held 2 pm on 16 January 2021 at the Acts Church on Jerusalem road in Temperanceville, VA.
