Clarence Fitchett Obituary

Mr. Clarence Elliott Fitchett, age 94, of Pocomoke City, Maryland {formerly of Sanford, Virginia} passed away Thursday  11 March 2021.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     He was the son of the late Sam Fitchett and Sallie Marie Fitchett and was preceeded in death by his wife, Loleta Fitchett, brothers LeRoy Fitchett and William Fitchett, sisters Netti Spady and Lillian Mae Edler, daughters Rose Marie Roberts, and Anne Porter.

Mr. Clarence is survived by his daughters, Marianne Hall of Princess Anne, Maryland,  Emerentiana Martha Branham and her husband Greg of Bel Air, Maryland,  Margaret Steen and her husband Dan of Joppatowne, Maryland.  Two sisters, Luemma McKean of Winter Haven, Florida, Hilda Fitchett and her husband Jack of Oyster, Virginia.  9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.

He was a retired carpenter and a World War II Army Veteran, who loved going to the horse races and casinos.  His greatest enjoyment came from playing cards with his family.

Graveside Services will be held Sunday, March 14, 2021 at 2 P.M. from Downings Cemetery in Oak Hall, Virginia with Rev. George Tasker officiating.

Arrangements are by Fox Funeral Home in Temperanceville, Virginia
