Charles Matthews Bodley

Of Greenbackville, VA passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Hartley Nursing Home, Pocomoke, MD at the age of 97.  His wife, Ellenor Brimer Bodley and his parents, Harvey and Mary Ctherine Matthews Bodley, predeceased him.  Born in Oak Hall, VA on September 12, 1926 and was a retired Radar Tech for NASA.  He was in the United States Army and was the last original Chief of Greenbackville Volunteer Fire Department.

His sons, Keith and Kevin Bodley, six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren survive him.

There will be a Graveside Service on Monday, March 18, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Franklin City Cemetery, Stockton, MD.
